Make Leg Pain Go Away

R8 Roll

We've heard so much of the benefits of foam rolling but carrying a 3 foot foam roll, laying on a dirty ground, and rolling over and over, isn't so much fun. Not to mention that people look at you funny whenever you do it.

Recently our partners at the Texas Running Company in Sugar Land, introduced me to the R8 Roll, and wow! what a great product.

Initially I was worried on the handling, or proper use of this product, but once you put it on you, it was instant productivity (and much relief to my muscles). The R8 creates enough pressure on the desired body part, that it wont slip off, but certainly enough pressure that you feel the knots on your muscles just popping (not really but that's how it feels to me). But one of its greatest asset is that its not big at all, easy to handle, and you can bring it with you in a small bag. You want to roll out your muscles before your workout on a bench, easy. You want to roll out your muscles on your couch, easy. You want to roll out your muscle on a plane, easy.

So I decide it to test it more and get others to comment. I first turned to one of my clients, 17 year veteran in the NBA, World Champion, and Multiple All-Star, Rashard Lewis who I've trained through out his entire career. Within 5 minutes of using the R8, Rashard was in love. He felt some pain at first (good pain) and after 5 or so minutes, it was easy sailing for him. The only question that came from him was "where do I get one of these R8's?" The answer, Texas Running Company in Sugar Land.

So if your looking for a great product to roll out the knots in your legs, and make them feel good again, I would definitely recommend the R8. The patented technology self-adjusts for different body sizes and targets the IT-bands, quads, hamstrings, calves, shins, gluteus, arms and more. It takes the work out of rolling and is compact enough to take anywhere. Enough said.
